I feel the same, I don't want full games via download. I only have 20 gb download limit or so a month with a speed of 1500 KBs.... How would I download 4-5 gb games?
This review basically expresses how I feel about the game. I'm not a PC gamer, so Halo Wars is one of my first experiences with the RTS genre (I played BFME2), and it has definitely created an interest in the genre for me now, perhaps I will try other RTS?
That is why Halo Wars works, it introduces people into the RTS genre who typically never had the chance to play them, it is certainly a good thing in my eyes.
This is my Favourite Aussie podcast. Everyone should give it a listen.
We don't get it in Aus for another few weeks (I think).
Would love to hear some hands on impressions from some actual RPG fans, seems the media aren't as keen on JRPG's as the general populous.
Thoughts people?
What a ridiculous price for this game. MS are starting to raise the prices on all games, no matter if it is good or not...
This is the thing we don't see in the gaming industry anymore. Exclusive games seem to become the battle ground for fanboys on either side.
This is the game that will push me over the edge, I will be getting a PS3 as soon as I save the money.
Big Respect OXCGN.
Why is everyone complaining about Metacritic adding some sites and not others. Before Metacritic adds a site to their review aggregation process they must have a certain Alexa ranking/views/hits etc, they don't just let any site join...
Obviously this particular website meets the criteria?
My Girlfriend loves Super Mario Galaxy and Zelda. Had a great time gaming together.
This collection looks like my childhood on a disk... pretty annoyed that they use the US boxart and that though.....
Can't wait for this game. Anyone know how the multiplayer will work?
The original was an amazing game, I'm looking forward to playing it again as well as expanding on it.
Agree guys TMNT on Nes was near impossible. I remember some of the under stages with that damn electric seaweed was bloody infuriating.
Also Faxanadu on Nes was bloody challenging
Everyone says battletoads but I distinctly remember playing that so much, my reactions were purely subconscious. The speeder bike lvl I could pass relatively easily cause I had done it literally hundreds of times, plus I think there was like a secret path on a certain stone block....
What a useless debate, because the fact is, there can never be real debate when discussing console superiority. People always pick the system they spent their money on, for some reason they feel the need to justify the purchase to a bunch of anonymous 'gamers' who are in the same position.
I couldn't care a less which console the majority of people prefer, I will always follow my own taste. I know my console purchases may not be the desired choice for everyone, but I'm not going ...
So it sounds like you can basically create your own level on Sandbox? I don't get it, do you use pre-existing structures or something?
What a well written, intelligent review from an obvious racing fan. Getting some mixed results isn't it, but I think the higher ones will be more in line with my tastes.
So there have been announcements/rumours of Halo Wars DLC? Awesome.
I didn't know about the 2 separate entities born from ensembles unfortunate demise, thank you for the info.
That is a great starter pack mate, all great games in their own right.
Seeya on LIVE.
This game looks fantastic, the Demo really sold me on it.
I don't know what I'm more excited about, Halo Wars or getting these Maps :)
Don't know if it actually is, but the male voice in the tutorial sounds exactly like Yamcha from DBZ...? ;)
